Organizers

The Tri-Valley Basket Brigade was founded by husband and wife team Reese Ramos and Katherine Havener. Prior to moving to the Tri-Valley, Reese and Katherine participated in Brigades in Southern California. They enjoyed working with other community members to make baskets, as well as making personal connections with families in need. When they moved to area in 2007, they saw there were no brigades, and so they organized one in the Tri-Valley.

Katherine is a natural and attachment parenting advocate, author, and former attorney. She also co-leads Tri-Valley Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network. Reese works for a company in Livermore as a mediator and is a part-time Bankruptcy Attorney. Reese and Katherine live in Mountain House with their two young daughters.
