Here are the specifics about Brigade Day:
When: Saturday, November 21. Registration is between 9:15 and 10 am. The Brigade begins at 10 am sharp. Please bring with you the food/other items you pledged.
Where: Valley Christian School, 7500 Inspiration Drive, Dublin, CA 94568. Valley Christian is easily accessible from the 580 freeway, exit San Ramon Road.
Parking: Valley Christian has plenty of parking available on site.
What should I wear? The Brigade will be held both indoors and outdoors. So dress in layers!
What should I bring? The food that you pledged. If you will be delivering baskets, you might want to bring a bagged lunch to eat during the Brigade break. Or, if you'd rather, Taqueria El Balazo will generously be providing Brigaders a complete lunch (burrito, chips/salsa, drink) for $6. Click here to pre-order your lunch.
What do I do when I get there? Sign in with the registration table to let us know you're here. Then bring your donated food to the assembly area and sort it into the appropriate pile (signs will direct you where). Volunteers will be available to help unload your food if you need help. Once you've unloaded your food, you'll wait until the Brigade starts at 10 am.
Lunch will be for sale. Taqueria El Balazo will generously be providing Brigaders a complete lunch (burrito, chips/salsa, drink) for $6. Burrito options are: carnitas, vegetarian, chicken. Drink options are soda or water. Click here to pre-order your lunch.

Break. Brigade volunteers can eat their lunches while listening to the awesome local band Homespun Royal.

During break, the Brigade coordinators evaluate the remaining food supplies to see whether any additional baskets or bags can be made. Food runs to the grocery store are made to complete baskets.
