The Big Day!

Here are some specifics about Brigade Day:

When: Saturday, November 22. Please arrive at 10 am sharp. Please bring with you the food/other items you pledged.

Where: Trinity Lutheran Church, 1225 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton.  The Basket Brigade is not affiliated with Trinity Lutheran, but we are very grateful for the use of the church to hold the Brigade.

Parking: There is plenty of parking at Trinity Lutheran.

What should I wear? Unless it rains, the Brigade will mostly be held outside. So dress warm and in layers!

What do I do when I get there?: Bring your food to the assembly area (there will be signs directing you there). Volunteers will be available to help unload your food if you need help. Once you've unloaded your food, you can help other people unload their food. The Brigade Coordinators will let you know what to do after that.

What is the Schedule? We will start sorting food at 10 and then assemble and wrap the baskets.  We estimate that assembly will be completed by 11:30 am.  After all baskets and bags are assembled, we will give delivery instructions to all delivery volunteers.  Delivery volunteers will pick up their baskets and can deliver them immediately.
